This windblown picture of me (Lynn) was taken sometime while we
lived in Urbana, which means before the summer of 1967. It could
have been a year or two before then for all I know. I certainly
don't remember the occasion. It was unearthed by Ellen McFaul
from an album of their old pictures.
Salvatore Martirano, my composition teacher at the time, branded
me as ``A hopeless romantic.'' Perhaps this picture conveys that
impression to some degree, as I appear to be looking forlornly
toward the horizon, possibly meditating on things unknowable,
but more likely just momentarily confused.
