This one is was taken by my brother Dean with his digital camera after the awards were over, as people were clearing out. By this time the earlier mist had burned off, and we're facing into the blinding sun, which is why we are squinting in this and the following pictures.
This hooded sweatshirt, which I wore all night long both nights, was from the Y2K edition of the race. It's a little hard to read in the folds, but it says SIX DAYS on the sleeve. The other sleeve says 48/24 HOURS.
