The row of smaller tents to the right belong to the six Brazilians who came up for the races, along with crew and family members. Some Brazilians ran in each race. Though most could not speak much English, their presence was much enjoyed by all persons present, as they were always in a good mood, laughing and singing as they went. As a group they turned in some awesome performances, including first place men in both the 6-day and 48-hour races.
